Rosecliff Terrace Restored
The west terrace of Rosecliff, facing Bellevue Avenue,
is the most visible exterior area, as all visitors must pass the terrace steps and the marble supports for the sculptures on their way into the house. The marble had deteriorated, the result of water, wind and air pollution. The terrace steps and sculptural supports had separated and spread at joints, thereby making them not only potentially hazardous to staff and visitors but also visually displeasing to the overall appearance of Rosecliff.
